Job description
As a Business Development Agent, these are your main duties:
- You use your customer-oriented approach, your excellent computer skills, your courteous way of calling and positive attitude to convince customers to work with Secutec.
- Within the framework of Business development projects or marketing initiatives, you call these potential customers on the basis of prospect lists, introduce Secutec’s products and services, send intake/customer onboarding documentation as well as standard quotes to the potential customer, schedule follow-up calls, if necessary, to win over the customer, and retrieve the onboarding documents.
- If larger contracts or projects are involved, or if the prospect indicates that they would like a visit from a salesperson, you pass this on to the Business Development Projects Teamlead so that he or she can set the appointments in collaboration with the Sales colleagues.
- You closely follow the working procedures.
- You meet or exceed your monthly targets.
- You report to the Business Development Projects Teamlead.
Your profile
- Previous cold calling or telemarketing experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience following work procedures is a plus.
- However, having a professional, enthusiastic and friendly attitude when first contacting a potential customer is a requirement.
- You have good verbal, written and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
- You are organized, have the ability to multitask, self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on an individually assigned task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where time management and prioritization skills are essential.
- You speak fluent Dutch and/or French + English, any other European language is a strong plus.
