Job Description
As Pre-Sales Engineer, you will strengthen the sales team with your technical expertise and keep up to date with the latest technological developments within our products and those of our partners. You use your strong communication skills to actively prospect and convince customers through demos and presentations. By researching the IT environment of potential customers, you can offer well-considered customized solutions to increase their IT resilience. To ensure excellent service, you will work closely with your sales colleagues and the Operations department to this end.
Required skills
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Pro-active, result and customer oriented, creative and decisive.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
- Knowledge of incident response processes, forensics and malware analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of firewall implementations, EDR, commonly used internet protocols, as well as network implementation and segmentation.
- +3 years of experience working in a technical environment in cybersecurity. Pre-sales experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
You will strengthen the sales department on a technical-commercial level during the sales journey where we deliver our solutions to customers. In this, you bear responsibility for:
- Collecting relevant customer information, as well as mapping their current IT environment in order to provide technical-commercial advice. You make them aware of the resilience of their IT environment through thorough research
- developing technical demos and presentations
- responsible for the pre-sales process
- assisting customers with Proof of Concept
- preparing briefings on business, technical and financial advantages of the offered technology compared to other existing solutions
- monitoring the technological evolution of our products and those of our partners in order to offer customers the appropriate customized solution
- maintaining a strong professional relationship with both customers and suppliers
- Follow-up on implementation
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you form the bridge between sales and operations, and you can link the customer’s needs in a technical way to the services we can offer.
In addition, you study the security policy within Secutec, and you are prepared to follow it closely and take the necessary actions. These actions include following up on trainings, campaigns and other security-related courses.
