Job description

  • As a Sales Representative you will build your own network and actively detect sales opportunities
  • The first specific focus of your sales activities is the Antwerp region and more specifically the Antwerp port and industrial areas in this region. Future further expansion of prospects and customer portfolio in other port and industrial areas in Flanders is also part of the challenge you take on
  • Incoming leads are taken up and handled by you
  • You focus on selling information security solutions and advise our customers on the resilience of their IT environment. So you analyze the needs of the customers and think along in solutions
  • Proactivity throughout the sales process is the key to success
  • You build strong relationships of trust with these prospects and customers, especially with the senior business decision makers and financial managers in these companies. This allows you to influence purchasing decisions with these customers and help achieve Secutec’s commercial objectives
  • You prepare briefings on the business, technical and financial benefits of the technology offered and work with customers to develop customized solutions
  • You arrange meetings with decision makers and organize presentations and documentation to ensure Secutec achieves the position of preferred supplier
  • Once the deal is in, you will work with the Inside Sales Representative, Account Managers and the Security

Your profile

  • You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in Commercial Science, Marketing or Economics, or equivalent through experience
  • You already have a strong footprint of contacts in the Antwerp region, the port and industrial areas around the port
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a B2B sales role. You have a strong affinity with Cybercrime and -security, the technology behind it and follow current events
  • You are a real HUNTER and a crack at proactive sales
  • You are able to translate business questions into sales opportunities
  • You are enthusiastic, persuasive, entrepreneurial and exude confidence. In addition, you are communicatively strong, a good listener and customer friendly
  • You are orally and in writing strong in Dutch and English. French is a plus
  • You enjoy being on the road and can handle occasional travel
