McAfee – Emerging Issue for Exploit Prevention

Exploit Prevention Content version update 9419 for Endpoint Security and Host Intrusion Prevention
McAfee has become aware of an emerging issue with the recent July release for Exploit Prevention Content version update 9418.However, the issue is reported only on EOL versions of EndPoint Security product (version 10.2.x and below).
Out of caution, McAfee has pulled the Exploit Prevention Content version 9418 and released the remediation package – Exploit Prevention Content version 9419.
We already had a few customers with this issue so make sure you don’t install this release yet if your Endpoint Security product has version 10.2.x or lower.
We hope McAfee will fix the bug by the end of this week.
