SNS Notice: Upcoming URL Changes in ePO – Prepare Your System Now

As part of the Trellix rebranding effort, on-premise ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) will require URL changes within the product to avoid disruptions to service.
This will require ePO systems to be updated to ePO 5.10 Update 14 by December 31, 2022, which is scheduled to release in early October 2022.

Important actions to take now
If you are on ePO 5.10 Update 10 or earlier and haven’t migrated to SHA-2 certificates, immediate action may be required.
Due to upgrades to our crypto libraries the upgrade to Update 14 will be blocked if you are using a 1024-bit SHA1 certificate.
To verify if the certificate has been updated to a 2048-bit certificate:
1- Log on to your ePO console.
2- Go to Menu, Configuration, Certificate Manager.
3- Note the value in the Key Size field for both the Root Certificate and the Product: Agent Handler sections.
SHA migration is a lengthy process and should be started without delay if you still have 1024-bit certificates.
